Not a mellow kind of yellow

Thursday, August 28, 2014

In our spare time, my partner and I are hobbyist beekeepers. Maybe that's why I'm loving yellow at the moment; or maybe it's just because for the last few years I've been trying to wear more variety and colour than the simple black and red that filled my wardrobe ten years ago.

Yellow can easily be seen as a bit garish, particularly for an office situation, but this almost neon bright Paperscissors dress from TEMT has great cut, detailing and ruching making the dress silhouette all class. Black and gold add contrast and a bit of tone. The dress itself was less than $40NZD so the most expensive item in this outfit is the 'Jane' snakeskin stilettos.
